About this role

Taeillo Limited is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Officer to manage the sourcing and purchasing of raw materials, production supplies, equipment, and other business requirements.
The successful candidate will ensure timely procurement, competitive pricing, quality assurance, proper documentation, and cost efficiency to support the company's furniture manufacturing and business operations.

Source and evaluate suppliers of raw materials, including wood, foam, fabrics, leather, laminates, hardware, and other production materials.
Obtain and compare quotations, negotiate prices, and secure favourable terms while maintaining quality standards.
Process purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and other procurement documentation in line with company policies.
Work closely with Production, Warehouse, Finance, and other departments to determine purchasing needs and ensure timely delivery.
Monitor supplier performance, delivery timelines, product quality, and compliance with agreed specifications.
Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and purchase tracking reports.
Coordinate with the Warehouse team to confirm quantities and specifications of received materials.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and develop reliable supplier relationships.
Monitor market trends, pricing changes, and material availability to support effective purchasing decisions.
Ensure procurement activities comply with approved budgets, internal controls, and company procedures.

HND/B.Sc. in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Relevant experience in procurement, preferably within manufacturing, furniture, construction, or a related industry.
Strong negotiation, analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
Knowledge of supplier sourcing, inventory management, and procurement procedures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement or inventory management systems.
High integrity, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Relevant professional certification in procurement or supply chain management is an advantage.
