About the Role
African Industries Group (AIG), a diversified global conglomerate, is seeking a Procurement Officer to manage sourcing activities, supplier relationships, and procurement processes while ensuring cost efficiency and compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of procurement experience, preferably in steel manufacturing.
- Strong negotiation, sourcing, and vendor management skills.
- Knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management, cost control, and procurement policies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word; ERP experience is an advantage.
- Experience evaluating suppliers and sourcing industrial raw materials, spare parts, consumables, mechanical components, and electrical equipment.
- Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Candidates residing in Ikorodu or nearby areas are strongly preferred.
