Job title: Procurement Officer
We are seeking a Procurement Officer to manage sourcing, purchasing, and vendor relationships for operational supplies and materials at our Oregun, Ikeja Lagos location.
Responsibilities
- Source and purchase materials, raw materials, consumables, and operational supplies from local vendors.
- Obtain, compare, and evaluate vendor quotations based on cost, quality, and value.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery timelines with suppliers.
- Raise purchase orders and track purchases through to delivery.
- Conduct physical market sourcing and follow up with vendors to resolve procurement or delivery issues.
Requirements
- HND or BSc in Business Administration, Purchasing & Supply, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- 1–3 years’ experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or vendor management.
- Experience working with local Nigerian suppliers and conducting market sourcing.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; ERP/procurement system experience is an advantage.
