Job title: Procurement Manager
We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Procurement Manager to lead strategic sourcing, procurement, and supply chain activities across EPC, marine logistics, oil & gas, and renewable energy operations, ensuring availability of critical materials and services for complex projects.

Responsibilities
- Lead the Company's strategic sourcing, procurement, and supply chain activities across EPC, marine logistics, oil & gas, and renewable energy operations.
- Develop and execute procurement strategies that optimize cost, quality, delivery, and supplier performance.
- Ensure timely availability of critical materials, equipment, and services required to support complex projects and business operations.
- Manage technical procurement and negotiate complex commercial agreements.
- Drive procurement transformation and build resilient supplier partnerships across local and international markets.
- Deliver measurable value while maintaining high standards of governance, compliance, and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years' progressive procurement experience, including leadership responsibility within EPC, oil & gas, marine, infrastructure, or renewable energy sectors.
- Demonstrated experience managing high-value technical procurement and capital project sourcing.
- Strong knowledge of international sourcing, contract administration, supplier relationship management, and commercial negotiations.
- Experience supporting large-scale engineering and infrastructure projects across multiple disciplines.
- Experience leading procurement transformation or process improvement initiatives is highly desirable.
- Skills and competencies required include strategic sourcing and category management; commercial negotiation and contract management; supply chain optimization; international procurement and logistics; EPC and technical procurement; vendor development and supplier relationship management; risk management and procurement governance; Nigerian Local Content compliance; knowledge of INCOTERMS, import/export regulations, and international trade documentation; ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, EPICOR, Ivalua or equivalent; strong analytical, financial, and commercial acumen; and excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
Preferred Certifications:
- MCIPS/CIPS
- PMP or PRINCE2
- Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (or equivalent)
- Additional supply chain or contract management certifications will be an advantage.
