Job title: Procurement Manager - PACIS Program
About the Role Within the Alstom Digital and Integrated Services France Purchasing team, you will manage the procurement activity to ensure the execution of a growing Alstom program (PACIS – Passenger Information System) from Tender through deployment for Projects, at the Villeurbanne site.
What You'll Do
- Manage the procurement activity to guarantee the execution of an Alstom Program (PACIS) from Tender through deployment for Projects.
- Launch RFQs with Alstom's supplier panel according to procurement strategies and the validated RFQ Package with the Programme team.
- Negotiate with suppliers.
- Present to internal stakeholders a Business Award in line with Quality Cost Delay (QCD) requirements or submit a Procurement commitment at Tender.
- Establish a legal contract with the selected supplier with support from Legal.
- Define the supplier's contractual commitments on Life Cycle Cost – Maintenance.
- Monitor cost variations during development and deployment.
- Optimize costs through various levers (technical, redesign, etc.).
- Monitor supplier risks on QCD aspects to anticipate difficulties and prepare mitigation plans.
What We're Looking For
- 5 to 10 years of procurement experience in an industrial and complex environment.
- Rigorous, interested in an industrial environment, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to anticipate and persuade.
- Appetite for contractual setup and management.
- Fluent English.
- SAP proficiency.
