Job title: Procurement Manager
About the Role The Procurement Manager leads the Procurement Management organization at country level, ensuring delivery against defined objectives and KPIs, driving governance and process execution, and optimizing raw material supply and supplier integration to support automotive production.
What You'll Do
- Manage and supervise the Procurement Management org unit according to defined objectives and KPIs
- Identify potential improvements in area of responsibility, offer consulting and contribute to service delivery improvements
- Take responsibility for standard & governance adherence and process execution
- Lead the direct reports in the area of responsibility
- Plan regular team activity to cover all activity stages and respond to all requests received
- Define team objectives, tasks and responsibilities; provide clear instructions, monitoring and evaluation of results
- Identify training and development needs of direct reports; support professional development and adoption of newly acquired knowledge
- Propose and apply measures for improving team performance, organizational flexibility, diversity, succession planning, coaching, change management and personal growth
- Functional accountability for Procurement Management on country level
- Ensure accurate and efficient Raw Material supply process
- Manage supplier integration in the Country (localization, consignment agreements, logistics agreements, delivery performance evaluation, etc.)
- Ensure optimum stock level for raw materials, by taking actions to avoid and reduce excess, obsoletes, etc.
What We're Looking For
- Education: Engineering degree or equivalent (BAC+5); Technical (Mechanical, Electrical, etc.) / Industrial Engineering / Quality / Supply Chain / Management
- Experience: 5 years in the automotive industry; 2 years as a Procurement manager are appreciated
- Language: French, English
