Procurement Intern

Job Description
- Maintain updated tracker of issued purchase orders
- Monitor outstanding orders and follow up on expected delivery dates
- Obtain delivery confirmation from suppliers and receiving locations
- Track outstanding deliveries and highlight potential stock-out risks
- Support reconciliation of purchase orders against delivery documentation
- Participate in procurement meetings and document action points
- Assist procurement officers with assigned administrative tasks
- Support implementation of departmental procurement policies and procedures
Requirement
- A good degree in Procurement & Supply Management, Business Administration, Economics, Logistics & Transport, Operations Management or other related discipline
- Knowledge of Inventory Management, Cost Management and Procurement Management is an added advantage
- Strong attention to detail and confidentiality of supplier info & pricing
- Proficiency in Excel / ERP systems is an advantage
