About this role
Procurement Contract Lead
The job posting describes a Contract Management Lead who acts as a strategic linchpin between legal, procurement, and operations, overseeing the entire contract lifecycle to maximize financial and operational outcomes.
Purpose
The purpose of a Contract Management Lead is to serve as a strategic linchpin between legal, procurement, and operations, ensuring that every organizational agreement is a high-performing business asset rather than just a static legal document. By overseeing the entire contract lifecycle, the Lead protects the organization from value erosion—which can average nearly 10% of revenue due to poor management— while maximizing financial and operational outcomes.

- Regulatory Alignment: Ensuring contracts remain compliant with changing laws, such as environmental standards, labor laws, or trade sanctions.
- Lifecycle & Performance Monitoring
- Obligation Tracking: Ensuring the business actually delivers what was promised (and vice versa) by setting alerts for milestones and deliverables.
- Renewal Strategy: Identifying expiring contracts 90–120 days in advance to evaluate whether to renegotiate, renew, or terminate.

- CLM Administration: Serving as the "super-user" or owner of the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system.
