About the Role The Procurement Compliance Project Manager serves as the critical bridge between operational sourcing and corporate integrity. You’ll be the architect of a transparent supply chain, blending project management rigor with data literacy to navigate regulatory environments. Based in the Greater Chicago Area, you will help ensure compliance, risk management, and value creation across procurement activities. What You'll Do
- Translate high-level procurement strategies into tactical project plans with clear milestones (e.g., Small Business Subcontracting goals or Sustainability targets).
- Audit readiness: develop "Self-Assessment" toolkits for buyers to prevent non-compliance before it occurs.
- Regulatory translation: act as SME on U.S. Federal requirements (e.g., Section 889, Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act).
- Data analytics & integrity: lead predictive risk modeling, own Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) or ERP systems data to ensure the Source of Truth remains untainted; create executive-ready visualizations (PowerBI/Tableau) of risk vs. reward.
- Stakeholder engagement: mediate between Engineering’s need for speed, Legal’s need for protection, and Finance’s need for cost-control; design and deliver training to the broader Supply Chain team.
- Travel: 10-25% travel as required. What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in procurement, project management, compliance or similar business experience.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required; employer sponsorship is not available.
- Travel 10-25%.
- Based in the Greater Chicago Area with an expectation to be in office 3 days per week.
- Data literacy and experience with CLM or ERP systems; ability to translate data into visual insights using SQL, Excel, PowerBI or Tableau. Compensation & Benefits
- Target Base Salary Range: $85,000 - $100,000 per year.
