About the Role Novartis is seeking a Procurement Category Manager based at INSURGENTES, Mexico, to lead procurement category strategies and supplier management within Purchasing & Sourcing. This role focuses on delivering value through strategic sourcing and stakeholder collaboration. What You'll Do
- Develop and implement procurement category strategies aligned with business goals and cost optimization targets.
- Lead supplier qualification, negotiation, contracting, and performance management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Operations, R&D) to identify savings opportunities and ensure compliant purchasing processes.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to mitigate risk and secure continuity of supply. What We're Looking For
- Experience in procurement, category management, or strategic sourcing.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of supplier risk assessment, supplier relationship management, and contracting basics.
