Job title: Procurement Buyer
About the Role Join Alstom as Procurement Buyer in Madrid (Pinto). You will manage supplier selection, lead RFQ processes, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure project execution aligns with QCDT objectives. You will also support supplier panel relationships, ethics compliance, and risk management across cross-functional teams.
What You'll Do
- Set up full supplier selection process
- Prepare and launch of Request for Quotation with suppliers
- Lead project negotiation
- Promote the Alstom Code of Ethics and adhering to the highest standards of ethical conduct
- Ensure on-time delivery and quality especially during ramp-up
- Support commodity strategy
- Participate actively to commodity strategy and panel elaboration
- Provide inputs to build differentiation
- Support global supplier panel relationship
- Assess properly all risky suppliers and manage the associated mitigation plan
What We're Looking For
- Academic background: Technical Engineering or University Degree in Industrial Engineering, Economics, Administration, Finance or related studies
- 3 years of experience in similar positions
- Fluent in English
- Desirable knowledge in SAP
