Processing Team Lead

About the Role In line with Diageo's Zero Harm principles, this role leads day-to-day production in the processing area, promoting a Safety First culture and ensuring safe, high-quality output. You will directly manage 15–25 operators across multiple lines and coordinate shift coverage on mornings, afternoons, and overnights, working with multiple functional teams to ensure efficient facility operation. What You'll Do

• Direct the day-to-day production requirements across the processing area, including daily processing planning, safety activities, quality, staffing assignments, and departmental budgeting.
• Provide relevant training and development opportunities for employees and the team as a whole.
• Lead and empower a team of 15–25 operators across multiple lines; supervise shifts (days/nights/weekends) as needed.
• Drive continuous improvement and total employee engagement using Supply Excellence tools and techniques; optimize efficiencies, reduce labor costs, and improve throughput.
• Ensure GMP/ISO/FSSC/CARM compliance; support safety and food safety audits and ensure corrective actions are completed.
• Maintain production databases and use data for continuous improvement; implement key business initiatives to support the department.
• Foster a safety, compliance, and quality ambassador culture; build relationships to motivate and guide others toward breakthrough performance.
• Develop self and others for current and future roles; provide feedback and coaching to enhance performance.
• Follow GMP, MSS, and 5S housekeeping standards, keeping the area compliant with Food Safety regulations. What We're Looking For
• BA/BS in Business, Management, or Engineering.
• 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a high-speed bottling plant/warehousing operation in a best-in-class manufacturing environment with GMPs or other regulated industries.
• Thorough working knowledge of high-speed bottling activities, including machine operations, changeovers, start-up, shut-down, and packaging quality.
• Demonstrated ability to drive change within a manufacturing environment through diagnosing, designing, and implementing solutions.
• Knowledge of TTB and State regulations pertaining to the production of alcohol beverages is a plus.
• Flexible and adaptable; able to manage wellbeing and priorities across multiple shifts.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and training abilities. Nice to Have
• Knowledge of TTB/state regulations for alcohol beverage production (preferred). Compensation & Benefits
• Salary range: $73,388 – $122,313 per year.
