Process Technology Engineer
Responsibilities
- Continuous process technological optimization, development and planning of processes and plants in close collaboration with production
- Execution of smaller investment & optimization projects in Evonik's existing production plants in China and beyond
- Contribution in the optimization of existing production processes as part of continuous process development
- Leading of process development projects with interdisciplinary teams
- Development of innovative process technological concepts and methods for the production of specialty chemicals
- Responsibility for the planning, coordination and execution of experiments in the laboratory, pilot plant or production environment
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor or above degree in the field of process technology, chemical engineering or similar natural sciences. International study background and degrees are desirable.
- Ideally over 10 years of experience in the petrochemical/specialty chemical industries.
- Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken
- Committed and loyal team member, which represents high self-motivation, flexibility and creativity
- Interest in being part of a global expert group
- Willingness for international business travel
