Job title: Process Technician, Implant (BE Nights)
About the Role This role provides process sustaining support in an automated semiconductor production environment with a focus on implantation. It requires a compressed 12-hour night shift schedule (3 days on, 4 off; then 4 days on, 3 off; alternating Wednesday-Saturday, 6pm-6am).
What You'll Do
- Work with Engineering to develop and qualify new processes and tool sets; characterize, document, and potentially present data based on design of experiments (DOE).
- Report and document process issues and equipment malfunctions; take corrective action and coordinate with Process Engineers & Equipment Maintenance to resolve non-conformance.
- Manage material depositions and resolve lot issues; assist in creating new procedures and refining existing ones.
- Collaborate to achieve quarterly yield and cycle time goals; perform technical tests/experiments; set up processing equipment; monitor/audit and guide line operators.
- Process test runs and prepare records, charts, and graphs of results for presentation to engineering; provide technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel.
What We're Looking For
- Associate degree in Electronics Engineering Technology (EET) or Mechanical Engineering Technology (MET) or relevant technical field; or equivalent semiconductor experience.
- Understanding of structured problem solving (5Y and 8Ds); MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Access experience.
- Strong written and oral communication; strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Physical ability to stand/walk for extended periods; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; comfortable wearing PPE; ability to perform repetitive motions and work on concrete surfaces; ability to climb ladders.
- Experience operating machinery and/or assembling products; experience in a semiconductor environment and with process development/engineering support.
Nice to Have
- DOE experience or involvement in DOE-based data analysis; familiarity with data tools is preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $18.40 - $25.30 per hour.
