A Process Safety Engineer position has become available at an international chemical manufacturing company, based in Hammarsdale.
The Process Safety Engineer is responsible for leading Process Safety Management (PSM), Process Engineering, Maintenance and Capital Projects activities at the manufacturing facility.
Qualifications
- BSc or BTech in Chemical Engineering
Experience
- 8 - 10 years relevant chemical manufacturing and process safety experience.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Lead Process Safety Management initiatives and compliance.

Conduct HAZOPs, PHAs, MOCs and risk assessments.

Manage capital projects from concept through commissioning.

Improve engineering reliability, safety and operational performance.

Support manufacturing teams with technical expertise.

Drive SHERQ and continuous improvement initiatives.
