Job title: Process Operator
About the Role As a Process Operator, you will work in a 3-shift operation as part of a team of 18 FTE and report to the Shift Leader. Your main task is to control and monitor your portion of the production process to ensure smooth operation. Tasks range from operating machines to overseeing complex production processes from the control room. A key part is ensuring safety on the production floor, and you will be responsible for complying with Arbo and Safety regulations, as well as environmental regulations.
What You'll Do
- Monitor and, where needed, adjust production processes on-site (at the installation or machines) and in the control room.
- Perform quality measurements, possibly using samples.
- Identify and report defects or other anomalies in the process.
- Carry out small repairs.
- Perform first-line maintenance in your section.
- Timely involve the maintenance technician.
- Provide guidance to shift operators.
- Submit improvement proposals to optimize the production process.
- Explain deviations using the appropriate forms.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of an MBO level-3 in Procestechniek or VAPRO-A.
- Knowledge and experience (min 3 years) in an innovative production environment.
- Knowledge of process improvement methodologies and experience with modern production methods.
- Willingness to follow additional training, e.g., Vapro B.
- Willingness to work in a 3-shift operation.
- Strong sense of responsibility, proactive, analytical, and quality-oriented.
- High degree of independence and action-oriented; able to work with colleagues to optimize production.
Nice to Have
- Vapro B certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Experience with safety and environmental regulations is a plus.
