About the Role Join Diehl as a Process-, Methods- and Tool Developer focusing on Product Lifecycle Management (PLM). You will define and align detailed methods and workflows derived from processes, and implement them in the applied tools to continuously optimize the work environment across all areas.
What You'll Do
- Develop and align detailed methods and workflows derived from processes and implement them in PLM tools.
- Champion configuration management processes and their interfaces to System Engineering (Requirements Engineering, Architecture, Test Management, Change Process), ensuring optimal information and data flows for downstream disciplines.
- Support Central Parts and Obsolescence Management and Central Data Governance processes.
- Participate in complex cross-disciplinary optimization projects, including definition, planning, and leadership when needed.
- Analyze suitable tools for defined use cases and ensure their maintenance and further development in close collaboration with IT.
- Produce documentation for all activities, methods, workflows, and tools within the CM scope.
- Develop and deliver trainings on processes, methods, and tools; assist projects and personnel in applying them.
What We're Looking For
- University degree in Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Defense Technology or a comparable field.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in process and configuration management.
- Excellent knowledge of norms, standards, and tools in Systems Engineering and Configuration Management including Software Configuration Management, with several years of implementation and integration experience.
- Ideally experience with introducing and maintaining ELM- or PLM-systems and Data Governance Frameworks.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, strong methodological and presentation abilities, and high assertiveness.
- Self-driven, accurate work style, high willingness to travel, and very good English skills (written and spoken).
- Location: Überlingen am Bodensee; Start: asap; Travel: high willingness.
Nice to Have
- Experience with DOORS NG and 3DExperience in PLM/ELM contexts.
- Hands-on experience with Data Governance Frameworks.
