Process Engineer Technician

About the Role Volt is hiring multiple Process Engineer Technicians in Fremont, CA to support manufacturing operations. The role provides technical support to engineers, maintains SOPs, BOMs, CRDs, trains technicians, and conducts time studies to improve production efficiency. What You'll Do

• Provide technical support to engineers to improve production operations, including document control, rack/server labeling, fixture audits, label maker creation, training operations, and other PR supporting items.
• Assist Process Engineer with developing and maintaining SOPs, BOMs, and CRDs for the manufacturing line process; train all manufacturing technicians and operators on SOPs.
• Analyze and conduct time studies to increase production line efficiency with quality output.
• Train and maintain training matrices for production line technicians and operators, and train/test them to keep skill qualifications up to date.
• Perform weekly screwdriver torque calibration and keep fixture preventive maintenance records; daily audit fixtures and replace screw bits as needed.
• Support Process Engineer in deploying solutions for quality improvement.
• This is a full-time, long-term opportunity with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:45 PM. What We're Looking For
• Knowledge of server manufacturing assembly/packing process.
• Detail-oriented and able to concentrate on assigned tasks.
• Ability to present information to customers and managers.
• Ability to provide engineering support for production and maintenance activities to ensure maximum production.
• Strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to motivate, plan, direct, and delegate work to subordinates.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills; administrative management capability.
• Professional behavior with excellent verbal and written communication; proficient in Microsoft Excel (data analysis), Word, and Outlook.
• High school diploma with server-related field experience.
• Proficiency in Office suite and Microsoft applications; highly preferred. Nice to Have
• Experience with training matrices and operator training programs.
• Additional Office/Microsoft applications proficiency is a plus. Compensation & Benefits
• Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour.
