About the Role Primary function: Responsible for determining operations to produce product and develop processes to ensure quality, cost, increase productivity, and reduce cycle time, and scrap.
What You'll Do
- Determine operations to produce product and develop processes to ensure quality, cost, increase productivity, and reduce cycle time, and scrap.
- Write work instructions, procedures and techniques.
- Review and implement customer-supplied drawings and specification flow down.
- Analyze problems and develop solutions with minor technical direction.
- Design fixturing for self-identified operation improvements.
- Update and review KPIV control charts, control limits.
- Review changes of incoming raw materials and evaluate potential process impact.
- Review, monitor and improve tooling/equipment.
- Design new tooling for process improvements with additional Engineering support.
What We're Looking For
- Process control experience and ability to determine operations and develop processes.
- Proficiency in writing work instructions, procedures and techniques.
- Experience reviewing customer drawings and specification flow down.
- Analytical problem-solving with ability to develop solutions with minor technical direction.
- Design experience with fixturing and tooling for process improvements.
- Familiarity with KPI control charts and control limits.
- Understanding of raw material changes and potential process impact.
- Ability to review, monitor and improve tooling/equipment.
- Capability to design new tooling with engineering support.
