About this role
What You Will Do
- Facilitate a culture of safety and environmental excellence through critical hazard identification, risk reduction, and risk mitigation
- Develop sustainable processes working with peers to mentor and develop employees
- Provide operational/business leadership and technical support (e.g. lab testing, lab analysis, and energy balances) for the manufacturing process of the area and facilitating troubleshooting and problem solving to achieve goals
- Work in a team environment to develop, evaluate and implement safety, quality and/or cost reduction initiatives and projects that add the highest value to the operation to drive continuous improvement
- Develop and support the effective use of automation and programming to promote a safe and reliable operation
- Work in a team to plan for scheduled shutdowns, operator training, and maintenance or capital projects
