About the Role The Process Engineer will be responsible for supporting, optimizing, and improving manufacturing processes; driving process stability, quality performance, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory and safety standards. The role will work cross-functionally with operations and global engineering teams to ensure sustainable process performance and successful implementation of new products and technologies. What You'll Do
- Analyze, monitor, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve quality, productivity, cost, and efficiency.
- Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for process deviations and quality issues.
- Support industrialization of new products, product transfers, scale-ups, and process validation activities in alignment with global engineering standards.
- Develop and maintain process documentation including work instructions, PFMEA, control plans, and standard operating procedures.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and statistical process control methodologies.
- Coordinate with maintenance and technical teams to ensure equipment capability and uptime.
- Ensure all processes comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical training and process guidance to production teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across EssilorLuxottica global operations to align best practices and transfer knowledge. What We're Looking For
- Bachelor in Engineering, Chemical, Industrial, or Mechatronic.
- Advanced English.
- Minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement and problem-solving methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
- Basic knowledge of electromechanical control (contactors, sensors) and frequency inverters.
- Knowledge of automation and industrial process control.
- Ability to search for targets for performance, scrap, cost and efficiency indicators.
- Understanding of the principles of Design of Experiments (DOE) and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
- Knowledge of statistical analysis software (MINITAB).
