Job title: Process Engineer
About the Role Process Engineer based in North Haven, CT will develop and validate processing techniques and establish processing parameters in accordance with customer specifications. The role also involves developing tooling/fixturing for processing of customer parts, documenting techniques, and providing technical supervision and support for production personnel, plus coordinating root cause analysis and corrective actions.
What You'll Do
- Develop and validate processing techniques; establish processing parameters per customer specifications.
- Develop tooling and fixturing for processing of customer parts.
- Document processing techniques and troubleshoot chemical processes as necessary.
- Provide technical supervision and support for production personnel.
- Coordinate root cause determination and corrective action implementation for product-related issues in processing.
- Determine and implement corrective actions when root cause relates to processing methods or process malfunctions.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's Degree in mechanical engineering or materials engineering is required.
- Experience in thermal spray (preferred).
- Knowledge of robotic equipment (preferred).
Nice to Have
- Experience with robotic equipment (preferred).
- Thermal spray experience (preferred).
