Job Description The Process Engineer will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining injection molding processes to ensure high-quality production, efficiency, and compliance with safety and quality standards. The role involves close collaboration with production, quality, and maintenance teams to drive continuous improvement.
Responsibilities

Process optimization: Develop and refine molding parameters to improve cycle time, reduce scrap, and ensure consistent product quality.

Tooling management: Support new mold introduction, tooling validation, and troubleshooting of mold-related issues.

Specification creation: Define and develop specifications for injection molding machines (IMM) and all related equipment ‘automation, IMM’s peripherals…’

Production support: Assist operators with machine setup, adjustments, and problem-solving during production runs.

Quality assurance: Implement scientific molding principles to meet customer specifications and reduce defects.

Continuous improvement: Lead initiatives in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process standardization.

Documentation: Prepare and maintain process sheets, work instructions, and technical reports.

Cross-functional collaboration: Work with R&D ‘designers & laboratory tester’, quality, and supply chain teams to support new product launches and ongoing production.

Overmolding expertise: Apply knowledge of overmolding processes to ensure proper adhesion, material compatibility, automation and product performance.

Education Requirements

Engineer degree: in Mechanical, Electromechanical, Industrial, or Plastics Engineering

Experience Requirements
-
4+ years of experience in injection molding processes (automotive, electronics, or packaging industries preferred). Strong knowledge of scientific molding principles and polymer processing. Experience with troubleshooting molding machines and auxiliary equipment. Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and SPC tools.

Communication skills for cross-department collaboration. Good english level
