What role you will play in our team The Process Engineer supports one of our specialized teams within the refinery operations, including Process Engineering, Applications & Systems, or Environmental Engineering. You will work closely with integrated teams to support day-to-day operations and long-term initiatives, ensuring safe, reliable, and environmentally compliant operations.

What you will do Responsibilities may include:

• Collaborate with operations, reliability, and automation engineers to support safe and reliable unit operation.
• Identify, develop, and implement operational and facility improvements focusing on safety, reliability, economics, and sustainability.
• Communicate the status of unit operations, improvement opportunities, and operating costs to various stakeholders.
• Support routine energy, environmental, and cost reporting
• Influence others and drive toward solutions without direct authority
• Develop new applications and maintain the performance of existing ones.
• Support software/database requirements.

About you Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Process Control, Computer Science, or Environmental Engineering from a Canadian Accredited University

• Demonstrated leadership and strong academic skills

Preferred Qualifications/ Experience

• Previous refinery, chemical Plant or closely related engineering experience is an asset.
• High degree of analytical and technical ability, able to communicate complex technical data clearly.
• Strong attention to detail with handling high quantity and quality of work
• Ability to effectively influence others without authority
• Strong Interpersonal effectiveness
• A valid driver's license and safe driving record are required

• The expected annual salary range for this position is $93,500 - $111,000. Individual pay will be determined based on various factors, which may include skills, abilities, qualifications, work experience, and education.
