Job title: Process Engineer
About the Role Corning's Display Technologies segment seeks a Process Engineer to support production in Hefei, China, driving daily problem solving, process improvements, and data-driven engineering decisions, while supporting new technology migration and documentation.
What You'll Do
- Provide daily problem-solving support to production
- Participate in process improvement projects
- Troubleshoot equipment and process issues
- Support new technology migration and documentation
- Assist with data analysis for engineering decisions and normal operation
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related engineering field
- 3 years’ work experience preferred
- Process engineering skills with quantitative methods and engineering statistics
- Familiarity with design of experiments
- Basic Python knowledge
- Good project management, logical thinking, and cross-functional collaboration
- Strong English communication (listening, speaking, writing, reading) and ability to use computer programs for data analysis
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional team members
Nice to Have
- DMAIC / Six Sigma experience or leading project
- Understanding of equipment mechanical and control concepts
- Technical writing and ability to deliver technical presentations to operators, engineers, and managers
- Experience applying Python in digital transformation projects
