Description

• The Process Assistant is assigned to the Area Manager and will hold responsibilities specific to the different Fulfillment Center areas.

Key Job Elements:

• Support and work in the department as required

• Help support daily management of department duties, including allocating labor, leading meetings, assigning job duties, and communicating with internal and external suppliers

• Provide vacation coverage for Area Managers

• Provide policy follow-up, attendance tracking (duties do not extend to discipline)

• Track and report ATS/labor hours

• Assist the floor as an associate resource, training associates and verifying SOP compliance

• Ensure successful area performance through tracking, reporting and feedback of associate performance

• Participate in Operational Excellence initiatives in some capacity

• Fill in as needed with production duties

• Fully understand workflow and daily production goals

• Review and update SOP as required

• Assist in keeping work area clean and organized

• Identify and address safety hazards within the work area

• Coach associates to work safely at all times

• Participate in safety initiatives

• Refer all job injuries immediately to area manager

• Basic Qualifications

• 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience

• High school or equivalent

• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays

• Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach

• Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required

• Preferred Qualifications

• Education beyond High School, and/or prior experience managing employees

• Demonstrated communication skills (written and verbal) with all levels of Amazon associates and management

• The starting pay for this position is listed below, including the base pay rate plus the highest available shift differential which applies depending on the shift you select. As a total compensation company, additional earnings may include shift differentials and overtime pay. Final pay will be based on factors including shift selection and location.
