About the Role The Private Wealth Director leads and cultivates client relationships for Wealth Advisory and Private Client Advisory segments, serving as a trusted, strategic advisor and coordinator across all aspects of Wealth Management. The role drives organic growth through client retention, expansion, and sourcing new relationships.
What You'll Do
- Lead and cultivate deep, long-term client relationships, serving as the central point of contact and helping navigate complex financial needs.
- Develop referrals and leads from internal and external sources, including centers of influence, working with clients to understand each client’s family dynamics, financial goals, and philanthropic aspirations.
- Work with a team of experts to develop and implement customized Wealth Management strategies; orchestrate specialists to provide holistic services including wealth structuring, credit facilities, banking, asset management, budgeting, insurance, charitable giving, wealth transfer, and tax services.
- Develop tailored meeting agendas and presentations with proactive, targeted advice and a relationship timeline to fulfill client goals in the short, medium and long term.
- Review accounts to determine the banking, investment and advisory needs of clients; anticipate and create opportunities for enhancing client relationships.
- Contribute to organic growth by expanding current relationships and sourcing new ones; participate in development of new and integrated solutions to meet client needs; bring in experts when appropriate and close the sales; ensure smooth delivery of new services and communicate emerging needs.
- Incorporate digital solutions and capabilities to enhance the client experience.
What We're Looking For
- 10 - 15 years industry experience, including significant experience in relationship management and portfolio management.
- Degree or equivalent in a relevant field (Business Administration, Finance, Economics).
- MBA or Post-Graduate Degree preferred.
- CFP, CPA, CFA, CTFA, CFM certificate preferred.
- Series 7 and 63 required.
- Broad understanding of Wealth Management principles including investment, tax planning, estate planning, and family governance.
