Private Physician — Sole-Charge Medical Care — Dubai

A private family in Dubai is appointing a permanent Private Physician, UK or European-trained, to lead resident care. When the family moves to Switzerland for the season, you move with them, and primary care carries on, and you decide how it is delivered. When you travel with the family, all local arrangements (visa, licensing and coordination with local clinics) remain with the family's own office and advisers. Requirements

• You are a fully qualified family medicine physician (GP) with current registration in the UK or Europe, able to hold sole charge. 3 years or more of qualified clinical experience are expected, including time spent in sole charge. We consider private physicians trained and registered in the UK or Europe only, a rule the family sets and we keep. You need confident, professional English; discretion is treated as a clinical standard. We introduce only those private physicians whose credentials we have checked ourselves, which matters most when the post carries sole charge.

Benefits

• Salary is gross at £240,000 per year, with accommodation and travel included, reflecting the autonomy the role carries. The salary is agreed directly between the family and the clinician; each clinician should take advice from their own tax adviser on whether the income is taxable in their circumstances. Accommodation within the residence is provided and relocation is arranged by the family, so you can respond at once. Annual leave and return flights are covered by the family, which keeps a long-term private physician post sustainable.
