About this role
A private family in Riyadh wants a UK & European-trained private physician for a resident medical governance appointment, with full clinical autonomy from the first day. The role is suited to a physician seeking clinical autonomy and a stable, long-term placement. Expect to accompany the family to Paris; medical care stays in your hands wherever they stay, without a handover to anyone else. When you travel with the family, all local arrangements (visa, licensing and coordination with local clinics) remain with the family's own office and advisers. Your employer is the family, and the contract is between the two of you.
Requirements
- A current UK or European registration as a family medicine physician (GP) is the starting point. 3 years or more of qualified clinical experience are expected, some of it in primary care. We consider private physicians trained and registered in the UK or Europe only, and that standard applies to every candidate we introduce. You need confident, professional English, together with complete discretion about everything you see in Riyadh. Registration, references and training history are checked by us first, so that full clinical autonomy is trusted for good reason.
Benefits
- The gross salary for this private physician post is £240,000 per year, with accommodation and travel included, which recognises the weight of sole responsibility. The salary is agreed directly between the family and the clinician; each clinician should take advice from their own tax adviser on whether the income is taxable in their circumstances. The family covers where you live, within its residence, and how you get there, so you can focus on medical care. Paid annual leave is built into the contract, which keeps a long-term private physician post sustainable. You sign with the family itself, never with us, so expectations around a resident medical governance role are clear from the start. Engagement essentials Availability to begin within six weeks of offer. Live-in and single-status: the role suits clinicians who relocate alone, with full flexibility to travel worldwide with the family at short notice. Medical Staff Talent introduces and verifies clinicians. The engagement is contracted directly between the family and the clinician, and all local arrangements (visa, licensed entity, coordination with local clinics) remain with the family's own office and advisers.
