About this role
The family's household in Abu Dhabi needs a UK & European-trained private physician, to fill the resident medical governance role. The family spends part of each year in Europe, and you go too, with primary medical care and long-term health oversight remaining your responsibility throughout. When you travel with the family, all local arrangements (visa, licensing and coordination with local clinics) remain with the family's own office and advisers. The family appoints you and issues your contract itself, while Medical Staff Talent introduces and verifies each clinician.
Requirements
- A registered family medicine physician (GP) in good standing with a UK or European body, with a clean regulatory history and primary medical care and long-term health oversight. A baseline of 5+ years of practice since qualification applies, partly spent caring for a single client or family. Your professional education must be from a UK or European system. Strong English underpins every conversation with the family and clinics, plus a signed non-disclosure agreement before deployment. Nothing reaches the family until we have verified your training and standing, and we tell you plainly what we find.
Benefits
- Compensation for the appointment runs at £240,000 per year, with accommodation and travel included, gross. The salary is agreed directly between the family and the clinician; each clinician should take advice from their own tax adviser on whether the income is taxable in their circumstances. Your home within the family's residence in Abu Dhabi is provided by the family, not by Medical Staff Talent. The family allows regular paid time off, plus flights home each year. You negotiate your terms with the family itself, and Medical Staff Talent takes no role in the employment. Engagement essentials Availability to begin within six weeks of offer. Live-in and single-status: the role suits clinicians who relocate alone, with full flexibility to travel worldwide with the family at short notice. Medical Staff Talent introduces and verifies clinicians.
