About this role
A private family based in Riyadh now needs a UK & European-trained Private Physician for a confidential placement. The private physician will be assessed on judgement as well as technique, always with complete confidentiality. On international trips and extended European stays, you continue the work of the private physician aboard and ashore. When you travel with the family, all local arrangements (visa, licensing and coordination with local clinics) remain with the family's own office and advisers. We introduce, we verify, and then we step back; your terms are set directly with the family as your employer.
Requirements
- The private physician must be able to evidence a medical degree and current registration as a family medicine physician (GP), current and verifiable. We look for 5+ years of clinical experience behind the private physician, preferably including private-sector work. Candidates for this private physician position come from UK or European training programmes, reviewed carefully before any introduction. Discretion about the family is non-negotiable, and we assess this ourselves before any introduction. Readiness to work away from home for weeks at a time is required, for stays that may run to several weeks.
Benefits
- The salary is £240,000 per year, with accommodation and travel included, gross, commensurate with experience. The salary is agreed directly between the family and the clinician; each clinician should take advice from their own tax adviser on whether the income is taxable in their circumstances. The private physician lives within the family's residence: the role is live-in and single-status. Leave is built into the private physician appointment, so the post suits a clinician seeking stability. The family signs with you directly, with duties, leave and pay stated precisely.
