The family's household in Doha is looking for a UK & European-trained private physician, placed through us on a strictly private basis. Seasons away from Doha, in Geneva and beyond, are spent with the family and in your care, often with your own judgement. When you travel with the family, all local arrangements (visa, licensing and coordination with local clinics) remain with the family's own office and advisers. The employment relationship is yours and the family's alone, so expectations around a private family medical care role are clear from the start.

Requirements

• Applicants must be registered family medicine physicians (GPs) from the UK or European systems, with no restrictions on practice. A record of 3 or more years in practice is needed, some of it in medical care. We place private physicians whose training and licence belong to the UK or European systems, and that standard applies to every candidate we introduce. English must be fluent enough for clinical handovers and family conversations, and an NDA applies before any deployment, and we hold ourselves to it too. Registration, references and training history are checked by us first, so that autonomous decision-making is trusted for good reason.

Benefits

• The gross salary for this private physician post is £240,000 per year, with accommodation and travel included, for a role held with independent judgement. The salary is agreed directly between the family and the clinician; each clinician should take advice from their own tax adviser on whether the income is taxable in their circumstances. The family provides your accommodation within the residence in Doha, so you can focus on medical care. You receive generous leave and regular flights home, both provided by the family.
