Private Physician — Principal Medical Advisor — Abu Dhabi

A private family in Abu Dhabi is appointing a UK & European-trained Private Physician to a long-term, confidential role. Once the household moves on to the Côte d'Azur for the summer, you hold the same exacting standard of care in every residence. When you travel with the family, all local arrangements (visa, licensing and coordination with local clinics) remain with the family's own office and advisers. Our part is to introduce and verify the private physician; any offer comes from the family, and you accept it directly with them.

Requirements

• Every applicant must show a medical degree and current registration as a family medicine physician (GP), registered in the UK or Europe. Experience matters: 2 years of clinical work at the least, reviewed in detail during assessment. We consider only UK or European training for the private physician post, and it is verified at source. Excellent spoken and written English is required, and we test this before an introduction is made. Extended periods away from Abu Dhabi are part of the post, with the continuity the family expects.

Benefits

• Remuneration for the private physician is £240,000 per year, with accommodation and travel included, gross, for a confidential placement. The salary is agreed directly between the family and the clinician; each clinician should take advice from their own tax adviser on whether the income is taxable in their circumstances. In Abu Dhabi you live within the family's residence: the role is live-in and single-status. The appointment is long-term, with a stable contract, with leave agreed at the outset in your contract.
