About this role
On behalf of a private family in Doha, we are sourcing a UK & European-trained Private Physician. The appointment calls for discretion, composure and sound judgement, particularly within the walls of the residence in Doha. The same clinician, from Doha to London to the Côte d'Azur: care continues wherever the family goes. When you travel with the family, all local arrangements (visa, licensing and coordination with local clinics) remain with the family's own office and advisers. The family is the employer of the private physician; we introduce you only once your registration has been checked.
Requirements
- Fully registered family medicine physician (GP) with current UK or European medical registration, supported by documents you can produce readily. Experience in clinical medicine spanning 2 years after registration, ideally in settings where discretion mattered. Training must be UK or European; this is verified in advance, quietly and thoroughly. Fluent English is expected in the Doha residence, and quiet discretion extends to social media and conversation. You should be ready to leave Doha with the family at short notice; light, prepared and discreet is how the family likes you to travel.
Benefits
- The gross salary for this private physician post is £240,000 per year, with accommodation and travel included, in line with the market for private roles of this kind. The salary is agreed directly between the family and the clinician; each clinician should take advice from their own tax adviser on whether the income is taxable in their circumstances. The family provides your accommodation within its Doha residence, as the role is live-in and single-status, and relocation is arranged by the family. Paid leave and flights home are provided by the family; the family wants a clinician who stays. When the family travels, your flights and lodging are provided by the family, so you can concentrate on the family. Engagement essentials Availability to begin within six weeks of offer. Live-in and single-status: the role suits clinicians who relocate alone, with full flexibility to travel worldwide with the family at short notice. Medical Staff Talent introduces and verifies clinicians. The engagement is contracted directly between the family and the clinician, and all local arrangements (visa, licensed entity, coordination with local clinics) remain with the family's own office and advisers.
