Private Physician — Live-In Medical Continuity — Jeddah

We are recruiting a UK & European-trained private physician for a private family in Jeddah, to own the live-in medical continuity brief. Time abroad with the family is part of the work. When you travel with the family, all local arrangements (visa, licensing and coordination with local clinics) remain with the family's own office and advisers. Your employer is the family itself, under a direct contract; we act as introducer and verifier, nothing more.

Requirements

• Applicants must be a registered family medicine physician (GP), UK or European trained, with confidence in primary medical care and long-term health oversight. We look for 3+ years in clinical practice since qualifying, ideally with a working familiarity with routine consultations and a steady daily rhythm of availability. UK or European qualification is the only route into this appointment. Excellent written and spoken English is needed for notes, handovers and conversations, with a signed NDA before details are shared. We verify your qualifications and registration ourselves before any introduction, including a check of your fitness-to-practise history.

Benefits

• Remuneration is gross, set at £240,000 per year, with accommodation and travel included, reviewed as the appointment matures. The salary is agreed directly between the family and the clinician; each clinician should take advice from their own tax adviser on whether the income is taxable in their circumstances. Accommodation within the family's residence in Jeddah is arranged and paid for by the family. The family gives generous paid leave each year, within a contract intended to run for years.
