A discerning private family in Doha is recruiting a UK & European-trained private physician for the household clinical continuity appointment. This position asks for a physician of quiet competence backed by a clear head in every situation. When the family leaves Doha for Europe, you are expected to join them, which is how trust is kept over the years. When you travel with the family, all local arrangements (visa, licensing and coordination with local clinics) remain with the family's own office and advisers. The family is your employer personally, with trust established at the point of introduction.

Requirements

• We require a recognised medical qualification in family medicine (general practice) with unrestricted registration in the UK or Europe, in good standing. You bring 5 or more years of post-qualification clinical work so that you manage a routine confidently. A private physician must be trained and registered in the UK or Europe, confirmed against the register by our team. Strong English and a signed confidentiality agreement are required throughout the appointment. Composure, calm authority and a trusted presence at home are required. Candidates should be prepared to move at short notice when the family's plans change.

Benefits

• You receive £240,000 per year, with accommodation and travel included, gross, with permanent status, agreed with the family. The salary is agreed directly between the family and the clinician; each clinician should take advice from their own tax adviser on whether the income is taxable in their circumstances. The family provides a place to live within its residence in Doha, and travel. Annual leave on full pay, flights home and a dependable long-term arrangement are included.
