About this role
One private family based in Jeddah wishes to appoint a UK & European-trained private physician, in a confidential household appointment built on trust. This position asks for calm clinical judgement backed by a clear head in every situation. When plans take the family abroad from Jeddah, you are expected to join them, keeping continuity intact from one residence to the next. When you travel with the family, all local arrangements (visa, licensing and coordination with local clinics) remain with the family's own office and advisers. Employment is agreed with the family in a direct agreement, and we remain available for questions about the process.
Requirements
- You hold a recognised medical qualification in family medicine (general practice) with unrestricted registration granted by a UK or European regulator. A minimum of 5 years of unsupervised clinical experience so that you manage a routine confidently. We confirm your UK or European training and registration before your private physician profile reaches the family, with no exceptions for any city. Confident spoken and written English and a signed NDA are required throughout the appointment. Quiet professionalism, good judgement and a trusted presence at home are required. The family expects you to be ready to travel with the family when the family's plans change.
Benefits
- Remuneration is gross at £240,000 per year, with accommodation and travel included, on a permanent basis, based in Jeddah. The salary is agreed directly between the family and the clinician; each clinician should take advice from their own tax adviser on whether the income is taxable in their circumstances. Your private physician appointment includes, at the family's cost, a place to live within the family's residence in Jeddah, and travel. Annual leave on full pay, return flights to your home country and the stability of a permanent post are offered by the family. The employment relationship is with the family personally, with trust established at the point of introduction. Engagement essentials Availability to begin within six weeks of offer.
