About this role
We are recruiting a UK & European-trained Private Nurse for a private family in Abu Dhabi. Standards are high for this private nurse position, and the family trusts those who keep their counsel. When the family's calendar turns to Europe, the family relies on one clinician whose nursing assessment they already trust. Our assessment of the private nurse covers registration, references and clinical history; the family alone is your employer and the other party to your contract.
Requirements
- A verified record of a nursing qualification and current registration is the first requirement, registered in the UK or Europe. We look for 2+ years of nursing experience behind the private nurse, reviewed in detail during assessment. The shortlist for the private nurse is drawn from UK and European registers, since the standard of nursing assessment must be demonstrable. English must be fluent enough for clinical handovers and written notes, and we confirm it at the verification stage. You should be comfortable with short-notice departures, while keeping the same precise standard of care.
Benefits
- Compensation is gross, from €5,000 a month. The salary is agreed directly between the family and the clinician; each clinician should take advice from their own tax adviser on whether the income is taxable in their circumstances. Relocation is arranged by the family, and you live within the family's residence: the role is live-in and single-status. A settled, long-term arrangement is intended, and the family values long-standing relationships. Your appointment is documented in a contract with the family, on standards both sides can rely on. Engagement essentials Availability to begin within six weeks of offer. Live-in and single-status: the role suits clinicians who relocate alone, with full flexibility to travel worldwide with the family at short notice. Nurses are always placed in pairs — two nurses alternating shifts — to protect continuity of care. Medical Staff Talent introduces and verifies clinicians. The engagement is contracted directly between the family and the clinician, and all local arrangements (visa, licensed entity, coordination with local clinics) remain with the family's own office and advisers.
