About this role
We are recruiting a UK & European-trained private nurse for a private family in Doha, for a long-term personal nursing appointment. This post rewards steadiness, good judgement and quiet reliability, with medication rounds, observations and a predictable daily rhythm setting the pace of each day. Time abroad with the family is part of the work, where carrying clinical records and prescriptions safely between residences is a standing part of the work. Your employer is the family itself, under a direct contract; Medical Staff Talent only introduces and verifies.
Requirements
- Applicants must be a registered private nurse, UK or European trained, comfortable taking responsibility for day-to-day nursing care for the family. We look for 3+ years in clinical practice since qualifying, since this role rewards steady, experienced judgement. UK or European qualification is the only route into this appointment, with no exceptions for this mandate. Excellent written and spoken English is needed for notes, handovers and conversations, and privacy is treated as part of the job description. We verify your qualifications and registration ourselves before any introduction, with your details held in strict confidence.
Benefits
- Compensation is gross, from €5,000 a month. The salary is agreed directly between the family and the clinician; each clinician should take advice from their own tax adviser on whether the income is taxable in their circumstances. Accommodation within the family's residence in Doha is arranged and paid for by the family, with relocation arranged by the family. The family gives generous paid leave each year, and the family also pays for flights back to your home country. The contract is yours and the family's alone, with our work ending at the introduction. Engagement essentials Availability to begin within six weeks of offer. Live-in and single-status: the role suits clinicians who relocate alone, with full flexibility to travel worldwide with the family at short notice. Nurses are always placed in pairs — two nurses alternating shifts — to protect continuity of care. Medical Staff Talent introduces and verifies clinicians. The engagement is contracted directly between the family and the clinician, and all local arrangements (visa, licensed entity, coordination with local clinics) remain with the family's own office and advisers.
