About this role
We are recruiting a UK & European-trained private nurse for a private family in Abu Dhabi, for the family's personal nursing appointment mandate. This post rewards steadiness, good judgement and quiet reliability, as medication rounds, observations and a predictable daily rhythm shape the family's days. Time abroad with the family is part of the work, keeping medication rounds, observations and a predictable daily rhythm unbroken from one residence to the next. Your employer is the family itself, under a direct contract; we introduce the clinician and check their credentials first.
Requirements
- Applicants must be a registered private nurse, UK or European trained, with day-to-day nursing care for the family central to your recent practice. We look for 3 years in clinical practice since qualifying, as the family expects maturity from day one. UK or European qualification is the only route into this appointment, and your credentials are read line by line. Excellent written and spoken English is needed for notes, handovers and conversations, with confidentiality observed at every stage, including interview. We verify your qualifications and registration ourselves before any introduction, giving the family confidence before they speak to you.
Benefits
- Pay starts from €5,000 a month, gross. It is a gross salary, paid into the bank account of your choice. The salary is agreed directly between the family and the clinician; each clinician should take advice from their own tax adviser on whether the income is taxable in their circumstances. Accommodation within the family's residence in Abu Dhabi is arranged and paid for by the family. The family gives generous paid leave each year, along with annual flights home. The contract is yours and the family's alone, which keeps the arrangement simple and transparent. Engagement essentials Availability to begin within six weeks of offer. Live-in and single-status: the role suits clinicians who relocate alone, with full flexibility to travel worldwide with the family at short notice. Nurses are always placed in pairs — two nurses alternating shifts — to protect continuity of care. Medical Staff Talent introduces and verifies clinicians. The engagement is contracted directly between the family and the clinician, and all local arrangements (visa, licensed entity, coordination with local clinics) remain with the family's own office and advisers.
