Private Markets & Alternatives Product Manager

The role emphasizes:

• Leading product management efforts to support growth strategy for DTCC’s Wealth & Investment Solutions.
• Shaping and delivering innovative solutions to drive adoption and growth of alternatives and other private market assets.
• Collaboration with Product Owner and internal teams; participating in PI planning; managing budgets; ensuring DTCC methodology compliance.
• SME in private markets, familiarity with data structures, fintech platforms, custodian processing, and fund administration.
• Understanding regulatory exemptions for alternative investments and knowledge of non-traded REITs, BDCs, hedge funds, private equity, and private credit funds.
• Leading client working groups and gathering requirements for application developers.
• Experience with file-based data delivery, JSON APIs, and Snowflake.
• Strong proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and AI tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years in product management or business development, preferably in wealth management, asset management, or financial infrastructure.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills; familiarity with UX design methodologies; experience with Agile project management and JIRA.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead external working groups.
