Private Banking Associate

We are seeking a bilingual Private Banking Associate to support International Private Banking clients with personalized service, account administration, transaction processing, and loan coordination. The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of private banking experience, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional, personalized service to International Private Banking clients at every touchpoint.
• Prepare account opening documentation based on client type, risk profile, and selected products for client review and signature.
• Verify client instructions and prepare documentation to facilitate accurate, timely transaction processing.
• Coordinate with internal departments and follow up on requests through completion.
• Review and complete Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation across various entity types, minimizing additional requests to clients.
• Respond promptly to client inquiries, instructions, requests, and issues to maintain strong relationships.
• Partner with the credit team on new and existing loan requests, complete return on equity (ROE) models, submit payoff requests, and answer loan-related inquiries.
• Monitor daily client transactions and alert the banking team to potential issues, suspected fraud, or unusual activity.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5–7 years of private banking experience.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong client service skills and a high level of professional and personal integrity.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and follow requests through completion.
• Ability to work effectively with colleagues, business partners, and all levels of management.
