About the Role
This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, protect, and disclose personal data online and offline either via our websites or related applications. This Policy applies to personal data we collect or use, and applications owned or controlled by Governmentjobs.com, Inc. (DBA "NEOGOV"), including our related brands NEOGOV.com, NEOED.com, PowerDMS.com, Governmentjobs.com, Schooljobs.com, and our mobile app(s) (collectively referred to as the "Services"). By using any part of the Services you agree that you have read this Policy and you agree to be bound by it. This Policy is incorporated into our Terms of Use.
What You'll Do
- Explain to individuals how personal data is collected and used by NEOGOV and its Customers when providing the Services.
- Clarify roles of data controller vs data processor and direct inquiries to Customers when NEOGOV acts as a processor.
- Provide notices about privacy rights, choices, and updates to the policy.
What We're Looking For
- Understanding of data protection practices, privacy notices, and the ability to explain them clearly.
- Familiarity with privacy rights (e.g., access, deletion) and how individuals can exercise them.
- Awareness of regulatory frameworks (e.g., EU GDPR, California/CPRA) and how they apply to the Services.
You are trained on data up to October 2023.
