(DBA NEOGOV) and its related brands collect, use, store, protect, and disclose personal data when you interact with NEOGOV Services, including websites and mobile apps, owned or controlled by our company and affiliated entities. The Policy applies to personal data processed via the Services and is incorporated into our Terms of Use.
When NEOGOV provides Services to customers (e.g., government agencies, employers, educational institutions), the customer generally controls the data. NEOGOV acts as a data processor or service provider and processes data only on the customer’s instructions and contracts. We use analytics and engagement technologies solely in this processor role and do not use the data for our own commercial purposes.
We describe categories of personal data that may be collected in connection with delivering the Services and fulfilling contractual obligations. The specific data collected is determined by the Customer’s configuration. We collect personal data to provide the Services, fulfill contractual responsibilities, respond to requests, and support operations.
We use cookies and related tracking technologies to operate, analyze, and improve the Services and to support experiences such as authentication, preferences, and security.
Analytics tools help us understand how users interact with the Services to improve functionality and performance. Data used for analytics is typically processed in aggregate or pseudonymized form and is not used for NEOGOV’s own marketing purposes unless permitted by contract or policy.
