About the Role Ashurst Perkins Coie is seeking a mid-level privacy associate with 4-6 years of experience to join our Chambers-ranked Privacy Class Action Defense Team in Dallas. This role involves working on groundbreaking privacy litigation for marquee tech and retail clients, contributing to strategy and client service.
What You'll Do
- Handle all stages of pre-trial litigation, including briefing, written discovery, document production, and depositions.
- Assist with strategy development and direct client engagement.
- Conduct legal research and analysis of applicable federal and Texas laws and regulations.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and manage document production.
- Interface with clients, opposing counsel, and internal teams to ensure excellent client service.
- Collaborate with technology-focused clients and cross-functional teams on complex privacy matters.
What We're Looking For
- 4-6 years of legal practice experience, mid-level associate.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong interpersonal abilities.
- Commitment to client service and a client-centered practice.
- Comfort analyzing and interpreting laws and regulations; contribute to strategy.
- Passion for technology and working collaboratively with clients.
- Superior academic credentials and experience at a top AmLaw firm.
- Familiarity with Federal and Texas Rules of Civil Procedure.
- Willingness to work in the Dallas office; hybrid work arrangement.

Compensation & Benefits
- Compensation Range: USD 260,000 to USD 420,000 per year.
