About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Printing Press Supervisor to oversee printing operations, supervise machine operators, maintain print quality, and ensure production jobs meet approved specifications and deadlines.
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise daily printing press operations.
- Ensure printing jobs follow approved designs and specifications.
- Monitor machine operators and production activities.
- Check print quality, colour accuracy, and finishing standards.
- Ensure printing materials are properly handled and utilised.
- Monitor machine performance and coordinate maintenance.
- Identify and resolve printing and production issues.
- Ensure production schedules and deadlines are met.
- Enforce workplace safety and equipment-handling procedures.
- Maintain production records and report operational issues.
- Coordinate with Graphics, Inventory, and other production teams.
Requirements
- 2+ years of printing or production experience.
- Good knowledge of printing processes and machines.
- Ability to supervise and coordinate a production team.
- Good eye for colour accuracy and print quality.
- Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
- Ability to meet production deadlines.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Knowledge of printing materials and quality control.
