About the Role

Treta Pak is seeking a Printing Operator to operate sections of the Printing Press, ensure safety and quality, and collaborate with a lead for decisions on quality and productivity.

What You'll Do

  • Perform unwind, ink, and floater operations to produce quality product within specification in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Maintain constant communication and follow the lead to ensure smooth operation.
  • Understand the quality standards for the position and perform designated basic quality inspections.
  • Maintain logs and reports, and report anomalies that impact process quality.
  • Participate in World Class Manufacturing (WCM) teams and activities to eradicate losses in the process.
  • Comply with safety policies and all measures including food safety standards like BRC, GMP for the area.
  • Participate in Autonomous Maintenance (AM) teams and activities, following AM methodology to drive down losses by improving machine reliability, quality, and efficiency, and maintaining gains through standardization.
  • Help progress AM teams through various steps toward autonomous level and sustaining gains.
  • Prevent waste generation by following all procedures and maintain a zero-loss mindset with continuous improvement.
  • Understand and work within a 12-hour shift (6:30 PM to 6:30 AM) with a rotating 2-2-3 weekly pattern, including every other weekend; Week 1: 36 hours, Week 2: 48 hours.
  • What We're Looking For
  • High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
  • Prior production/manufacturing machine operation experience (preferred)
  • Basic machine maintenance skills
  • Quality inspection and machine systems handling
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Dependability and reliability
  • Basic math skills and basic reading comprehension
  • Ability to read, understand, and comply with work directions, training manuals, safety rules, standard operating procedures, and World Class Manufacturing processes
  • Nice to Have
  • Experience with World Class Manufacturing (WCM) and Autonomous Maintenance (AM) programs
  • Knowledge of food safety standards such as BRC and GMP in a manufacturing environment
  • Additional certifications or experience related to printing or packaging operations
