Job title: Print Production Technician

About the Role Formlabs' Print Production team handles printing custom sample parts, trade-show models, and packaging to support client experience. This role drives the end-to-end printing process—from setup to post-processing—while keeping printers clean, organized, and ready for production, and continuously improving workflows.

What You'll Do

  • Drive the printing process from start to end by setting up multiple print jobs throughout the day
  • Clean, operate and maintain the printers; post-processing parts including sifting, blasting and polishing
  • Packaging and ensure outputs are ready for delivery
  • Ensure printers are clean, organized, and maintained
  • Execute printing projects to meet schedule deadlines
  • Communicate with the RMA team to ensure properly maintained and repaired printers
  • Consult on prints, post-processing and documentation control
  • Constantly improve and streamline production processes to meet growing production needs

  • Bonus skills: 1-2 years of Design, 3D Printing, and/or Manufacturing experience
  • Familiarity with CAD software (Mesh Mixer, Fusion 360, Netfabb, Solidworks, Rhino, etc.)
  • Familiarity with manufacturing, regulatory, or product standards and compliance in industries like healthcare, pharma, or life sciences
  • Experience with 3D printing technologies and materials
  • Familiarity with Tableau or SQL

Nice to Have

  • 1-2 years of Design, 3D Printing, and/or Manufacturing experience
