About the Role Abbott is seeking a Principal Financial Analyst – Global Development Finance to lead and manage the franchise R&D FP&A function across Product Development, Analytical Chemistry, and pipeline analysis. This role interfaces with functional Directors, Managers, and leadership to manage cost center budgets, headcount, pipeline strategies, reporting, and R&D productivity initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Lead and manage Franchise FP&A for R&D across Product Development, Analytical Chemistry, and pipeline analysis
- Support franchise Product Development and strategic planning forecast of pipeline analysis
- Facilitate Franchise quarterly LBE process with the R&D groups
What We're Looking For
- Experience leading and managing franchise R&D FP&A functions, with ability to interface with Directors, Managers, and senior leadership
- Capabilities in budgeting for cost centers, headcount planning, pipeline strategies, management reporting, and driving productivity initiatives
- Strong collaboration across Product Development, Analytical Chemistry, and pipeline analysis; effective communication and analytical skills
