About the Role As a test development principal engineer in the Operations business group, you will test features on the silicon semiconductor chips Marvell produces for internal and external customers. You will help ensure only high-quality units ship, working closely with design to verify testability and conformance to specifications. You may also write code or develop new testing strategies when our chips exceed current testing equipment capabilities. What You'll Do
- Lead cutting-edge ATE test solutions for characterization, production, and wafer sort on Advantest 93K and/or Teradyne tester platforms
- Design and develop high-speed ATE test hardware
- Craft comprehensive test plans and documentation that meet stringent product specifications
- Collaborate with DFx and Design teams on testability and test plan reviews to optimize yield and test methodologies
- Transform test patterns from the design simulation environment to ATE format
- Optimize test flows, reduce test times, remove unnecessary steps, improve yields, and release production test programs in collaboration with product engineers
- Seize opportunities for growth and take on larger responsibilities over time What We're Looking For
- Experience as a senior level test engineer leading the development of ATE test solutions for characterization, production, and wafer sort on Advantest 93K and/or Teradyne platforms
- Ability to design and develop advanced high-speed testing hardware
- Proficiency in crafting detailed test plans and documentation
- Collaboration with DFx and Design teams on testability reviews and test plan development
- Experience converting test patterns from design simulations to ATE format
- Track record of optimizing test flows, improving yields, and releasing production test programs
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional teamwork skills
